Shane Clouse and Stomping Ground collaborate to write music you can sink your “feet” into.  Stomping Ground uses its own brand of Montana Outlaw Music to breathe new life into the Country scene.  Stomping Ground is a four piece band with Zach Millar on Bass, Ryan Fadden on lead guitar, Mark Sickich on Drums, and Shane Clouse on lead vocals and rhythm guitar.  Stomping Ground draws upon the influence of Waylon Jennings, Jerry Reed, and Merle Haggard to provide a foundation for their rocking Montana Outlaw  sound. 

Shane Clouse and Stomping Ground entertain at venues from honky tonks to stadiums throughout the West.  Shane Clouse and Stomping Ground have opened for Joe Nichols, country legend Don Williams, the Ike Reilly Assassination, and Phil Vasser.  Stomping Ground has opened for Sawyer Brown twice; once in 2004 and most recently on May 5, 2006 at the Adams Center in Missoula , MT.   Shane and Stomping Ground also opened for Tom Russell at the 2006 Choteau Jaycees Celebration on July 3^rd.  Shane’s song “Finer Things” from his debut album “Montana on My Mind” was featured on the nationally syndicated “Lia Show”.  The readers of the Missoulian voted Shane Clouse and Stomping Ground Missoula ’s #1 live music act for 2005. Shane Clouse and Stomping Ground became Montana ’s Top Country Act at the 2005 Montana State “Colgate Country Showdown” competition in Great Falls and were runners up for the Western U.S. regional competition which included over 1000 acts.  Shane Clouse and Stomping are currently recording their second cd which is sure to make a statement for the new age outlaw country movement.  The title track from Shane’s first cd “ Montana on My Mind” invokes images of the pristine beauty of Montana , the “Last best place on earth”.  No matter what your feet look like you can dance to the music of Shane Clouse and Stomping Ground!
